In the Foundation Resource Therapy Workshop you will learn;
The fundamentals of RT, its historical origins, and core RT concepts. How Parts come into existence and how to work directly with parts. The Foundation offers an overview of RT Protocols that offer guidance to our client work.
The Foundation Program is a great way to start your journey as a Resource Therapist. The program gives you an overview of Resource Therapy and how it works so that you can begin applying it immediately in your practice.
Resource Therapy is a brief psychodynamic therapy, based on the concept that our personality is made up of many parts. These parts are called our Resources and we each have many Resources available to us.
All of our emotions are useful and can be our internal resources. Many of us function in the world feeling like there is only one Part- The Anxious Part, The Sad Part, The Unmotivated Part. The good news is, there are many Parts to us and when we have the right Part driving us, at the right time, in the appropriate proportion to our circumstances, life runs much smoother.
Resource Therapy teaches us how new awareness of our emotional Parts, what they need and ways to get it. Through Resource Therapy we are able to better know our inner terrain, where we are stuck, ways forward and the internal resources we have to help us negotiate life WELL.
In a therapeutic setting Resource Therapy is brief (a short number of sessions) respectfully client centred and offers lasting change. The therapists supports and works with the part of the personality that is experiencing the presenting issue and provides effective methods in order to resolve, heal and move forward.
Tracy offers both Training and Mentoring/Supervision in Resource Therapy. Foundation and Clinical Courses are run throughout the year.

Upon completion of this Clinical Resource Therapy training each participant will be an RTI Accredited, Clinically Qualified Resource Therapist. This training is extremely useful as a therapeutic tool that can bring quick and lasting change to clients with a broad range of presenting clinical issues.

The Clinical Training includes specific Resource techniques to help clients deal with a range of presentations.

The training also includes advanced skills that will help the therapist better work with Resources:
Helping Resources keep their purpose to help, but learn to accomplish that purpose in a way that is helpful to the client.
Resource assessment: assessing the problem, not the person, to know which direction to take in therapy.
Practice issues, getting clients, referrals.
Supporting skills and ethical considerations.
The value and practice of advanced listening.
Learning to make sure the client’s central problem is the focus.
Tracy and the facilitator will provide the content, demonstration and support.

This five-day immersive training is designed for experienced therapists ready to deepen their clinical practice and step into teaching and leadership within Resource Therapy.
The training is structured across two distinct phases:
2 Days – Advanced Clinical Resource Therapy
3 Days – Train the Trainer
In the Advanced Clinical component, participants will deepen their work with parts through integration with contemporary trauma approaches, including EMDR-informed practice, memory reconsolidation principles, and intensive therapy models. Additional focus is given to working with couples and intergenerational trauma, supporting therapists to navigate relational dynamics, attachment patterns, and inherited trauma within a parts-based framework.
The Train the Trainer component supports therapists to begin the transition from practitioner to teacher. Participants will develop the skills, confidence, and clinical clarity required to hold and deliver Resource Therapy training, with a focus on integrity, embodiment, and relational delivery.
Set in the natural surrounds of Bali, this training offers a contained, relational learning environment where depth is prioritised over density.
Successful completion of this training provides a recognised pathway toward delivering Resource Therapy training and Supervision

WHAT IS RESOURCE THERAPY?
Resource Therapy is a Trauma Informed empowering psychotherapy based on the understanding that the personality is made up of "Parts". It helps us to understand the importance of working with the most appropriate part of the client to produce change. Often many therapeutic approaches work with a reporter part or a resistant part. Resource Therapists learn many tools to help them compassionately and respectfully work with the parts that most need it and navigate resistance and or dissociative parts.
Resource Therapy offers us a complete "map" , a full protocol to use with most client presentations. It can be a used alone Therapy or RT can also work beautifully alongside EMDR.
