Stay in the NOW!

So much of our day is spent worrying about what might happen or what has already happened. Being mindful is a way to bring a moment of calm to our day. Bring our mind back to this moment. This helps our nervous system and adrenal glands to take a well-deserved break. When you catch yourself wondering off into worry leaving this moment. It helps to say to yourself. “That is not happening right now (and remind yourself what is happening) right now I’m eating my lunch, the sky is blue and my shoes are red” Bring your mind back to the now and focus it on what is here now. Even if you do this 50 times a day, when catching worries, that’s a good thing! You are laying down new pathways and connections in your mind regarding, new ways to be in the world. These new ways will hold you firm and less wobbly. Tracy x
